We are a relativly new site but we are proud to say that this little site has now been elazated to a site that has a wopping total of 45! Our newest member is doublebubblemax Welcome eclipse. Even if it is developing in members it is still under a little construction. Feel free to PM an Admin if you have any questions (preferingly cobolt)

Charactor Information

TO MAKE A CHARACTOR:First read the rules for the password. Then go to the wolf creation. Go to Charactor bio's and then type the password and start a new thread.Once you make your wolf wait until After your charactor is accepted. Once you are accepted, PM Cobolt one or two descriptive sentences for your pack Information (the other stuff on the board.)

There are five packs.
FrostBite~The pack that thrives in cold conditions. They favour the winter and love the snow.
ShadowStrike~ The pack that walks in darkness. They have keep eye sight that helps them see well in the night.
WaterPaw~ The pack that loves to swim. All wolves in WaterPaw are excellent swimmers due to the wet condition of their territory. They love the rain and getting wet.
WhitheredBark~The pack that is one with nature. They live among the trees and are at peace with the forest. They love the sunlight.
MoonPack~ The pack that watches over the forest. This is where deceased wolves roam to watch the forest and the wolves in it. They hunt among the stars and ocassionaly assist wolves in need and visit healers, leaders and the lucky wolf or pup in their dreams.

I've seen people doing this, and there will be fights in the future. So I just wanted to make one thing straight.

Autohitting is when you post something like, "She leaped on the other wolf and scratched his flank, leaving a bloody mark."

Now, this post would be fine, albeit a little short. But that's not my point. When you fight, or even in other situations, and you assume that your attack hits the mark, that is autohitting. When you shake hands, and you assume the other person accepts your handshake, that is also autohitting/autoing. The polite thing to do in this situation is this: "She leaped on the other wolf and swiped a claw toward him, aiming for his flank." You can even put something like "If the attack hit, it would surely leave a bloody mark."

This way, you are giving the other person a choice whether to accept your attack or not. You are giving them a chance to dodge. If everyone autohit, battles would be pretty frustrating, because an attack that you're sure you can dodge always hits you without fail. There is a certain amount of discretion about this. You can't always dodge, obviously. It's basically up to you to gauge your character's strength, and decide if the attack should hit. It's courtesy in battle to let at least one attack hit, except maybe if you are a full grown wolf and the attacker is a three month pup.

By not autoing, you give the opponent a choice. This makes battles more interesting and lessens arguments. Choose wisely, people.

Unless, of course, this forum allows autoing. In which case scratch this post. ^^ But making autoing illegal makes roleplaying more fun for everyone.
